Overview

The ways to install kogut.

kogut is one binary for Linux on x86_64 and aarch64, with the panel inside.

Binary: from GitHub Releases, or with the install script, which verifies its checksum and sets up a systemd service. For hosts that run only the agent, the script picks the smaller agent-only build.
Docker: ghcr.io/piotrkowski/kogut for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64; see Docker and Docker Compose. The agent alone has the smaller ghcr.io/piotrkowski/kogut-agent image; see The agent in Docker.
Platforms: templates for Dokploy, Coolify, Railway, CapRover, and Render, and a NixOS module.

For HTTPS, put Caddy or Tailscale in front of kogut. To update, see Upgrading.
